1. General Use Policy
Access: Runway use is restricted to the following: Duchy residents, and their invited guests.
Duchy Dreamers LLC, their licensees, and invited guests.
Non-Resident Pilots: The Duchy host is responsible for ensuring their guest pilots comply with these guidelines. The host should advise the airport manager or DPOA President of planned aircraft arrival times, which include aircraft Reg # / Make / Model / Color.
Insurance: All aircraft are required to have 1,000,000 USD in liability insurance coverage. Duchy hosts are responsible for ensuring their guests comply with this requirement.
Runway available for takeoff and landing: 30 mins prior to sunrise to 30 after sunset.
Unauthorized Activities:
Nighttime operations.
Touch-and-go landings.
Aircraft with a MTOW > 5250lbs.

Runway Orientation: Runway 3/21 023M/203M
Surface & Dimensions: Smooth Asphalt; 3,500’ X 44’
Runway Condition: Good
3. Traffic Pattern
Pattern Altitude: 1,650 feet MSL (approx. 1,000 ft AGL)
Pattern Direction: Left traffic pattern.
Pattern Entry: Ensure runway is clear prior to pattern entry.
4. Noise Abatement & Safety Considerations
Pedestrians and wildlife are possibly on or in the vicinity of the runway.
Pilots need to visually ensure the runway is clear prior to takeoff and landing, and should avoid straight-in approaches.
Pilots should make every effort to minimize noise and be a good neighbor.
Road and 10’ berm at the approach end of runway 3, watch for traffic crossing the approach end.
Hill and tall trees located 600ft from the approach end of runway 21, recommend extending the touchdown point to maintain a stable approach.
Potential wind shear at gas line crossing runway, 1000 feet from the end of runway 21.
Homes located 100 feet east of the runway centerline.
Tall trees < 100 feet west of runway centerline.
On departure, maintain runway centerline until DER (departure end of runway). Avoid overflying homes east of the runway.
Waterfowl in the vicinity of the pond on the approach end of runway 3.
Winds can be erratic, and windsocks can be erroneous.
5. Communications
CTAF: Use multi comm 122.90 MHz
Announce position and intentions approximately 10 and 5 miles out.
Announce pattern position and landing runway on downwind, base, and final.
Announce location, taxi route, back taxiing, takeoff, and clear of runway.

6. Ground Operations
Runup: Runups should be completed prior to taking the runway.
Taxiing: Taxi at low speeds; vehicles and pedestrians should yield.
Parking: No public parking is available. Prearrange parking with your host resident.
Fuel: No fuel available. Plan accordingly.
7. Emergency Procedures
Fire / Medical: Call 911 and notify the POA President and Airport Manager immediately.
